I’ve decrypted and dumped all of the dialogue from both A Wonderful Life [link] and Another Wonderful Life [link].

I’ve started looking for specific terms (e.g. husband/wife, father/mother, dad/mom, daddy/mommy, etc) that will require changing, as well as any grammatical errors I come across.

However, I know that this won’t be extensive and there will still be a lot of cases where he/him and she/her pronouns will still exist until I manually hunt them down and change them.

If anyone has any dialogue from either AWL or AnWL that should be changed for the mod, I’d really appreciate it if you could message me [link] with the dialogue in question (screenshots would be ideal, but not necessary).

Yes, it is for the NTSC-U version.

It’s weird how the beta builds sometimes end up looking better than the final version. I wonder if it would be the same the other way around...

You could try Courier (or Courier New). Maybe also Menlo or the Ubuntu font.

I tried Courier New and the Ubuntu font. Ubuntu looked okay, Courier looked too thin. I think Menlo may be my next try when I grab the font files for it off of another computer.

I really like the look of the old Microsoft Sans Serif, but it would be a larger size and anti-aliased so that wouldn’t look right.

If you think violence is the only answer to people with different opinions and perspectives than you, that's just sad.

i’m so sick of liberals saying this. the alt-right is a threat to my wellbeing as a queer mixed person. their actions directly attack me and the people around me. milo was going to out undocumented uc berkeley students and the campus authorities said they would only cancel the event if there was violence. in order to protect those students, there was no choice. his rhetoric would have soon turned into action by the campus republicans.

and if you think property damage is an act of violence and fascist rhetoric is not, you are part of the problem.

What are some useless built-in programs (either Windows or MacOS) that you wish you could delete? e.g. Chess is "required by macOS" and can't be removed.

Windows 10 programs that are either duplicated or not used by everyone:

Xbox

Groove Music (Windows Media Player still exists for a basic music player)

Camera (I don’t have a camera. Or a microphone. But mostly a camera)

Maps (I’m on a desktop. It doesn’t move. I can just go online to find a map)

Messaging (again, desktop, not a mobile device)

Weather

OSX programs:

Maps

Siri

Reminders (I think that’s one? Can’t remember if it’s iOS only or not.)

If I wanted to go full Unix, iTunes

Windows 10 programs that I can personally do without but would break things for a lot of other people:

General stuff, regardless of the OS:

The built-in web browser, I only need it to download my preferred one (and even then I usually have it on a flash drive beforehand from a different computer, I haven’t opened the built-in web browser on a computer in ages)

iOS:

Reminders

Wallet

Health

All the internet connectivity out of the Music app

‘Photo booth’ if you still can’t remove that from the iPad

A lot of the Windows 10 ones are ones I would remove if I was setting up computers for a business.

listen guy, i have zero tolerance for anyone who supports yiannopoulos’ rhetoric. he and the alt-right are white nationalist scum. yes, he is a gay man. and yes, his grandmother was jewish (he himself is a practicing catholic). but he doesn’t get a pass for that. he is still a fascist and his followers use his event to recruit white nationalists. fascism isn’t an opinion and can only be fought with violence.
