Can I read the roommate hcs separately or should I do it chronologically? Is there a story or can I just jump in???

Good question, I would go ahead and read them in order, Part 1-12. (Keeping in mind there are a couple bonus parts, like 3.5 and 6.5 lol).

I was pretending they were headcanons but it's really just a fic.

That's a good idea tho - to make some random hc's or little moments you could drop in and out of. Some of these are that way, but it works better chronologically, just so you don't miss any development.
