Author's Note | Oct 31st, 2021: NaNoWriMo

Tomorrow is the start of November and this year, I am going to tackle the challenge and write 50.000 words in one month! It's going to be a lengthy Seong Gi-hun X Reader, so if you're as infatuated with Gi-hun as I am, I hope you're going to like it. Beware though, it's going to be angsty!

This project, naturally, brings along some consequences for my amount of uploads. I've already written some one-shots/headcanons in advance so I can post them throughout November so that you won't be left empty-handed, but of course it will not be an awful lot.

So please, be patient with me, because there will be more coming after November! I'll be way less active during November, but I'll try to respond to messages as much as I can!

Minors DNI!

Hey everyone! NaNoWriMo is going awesome for me so far, I'm already close to finishing the novel, so I'm certain that I'll resume posting very soon!

The requests have not yet opened up again, but I'm currently still writing on the list I already had! If you've requested and wonder where your request is, no worries, I'm working as fast as I can and right now Nanowrimo has been my main focus for this month. Once the requests open back up, the server will also be outfitted with a usable form to file a request! Also, I'm currently working on masterposts per character, so that you can navigate the masterlist per character, but that will take a little while longer. I'm nearly done with my novel, but I'm going to spend the rest of the month on editing and revising it if I can. If all goes well, I might even start publishing it before the end of the year! Thank you for following SquidGameSmut, I love all of you so much! <3 PS. I might post another smut fic either today or tomorrow, just saying 😏

Hi folks!

You might have noticed my frequency of posts dropping quite rapidly over the past weeks. This has a few reasons.

1) I've been insanely busy with uni stuff

2) I've been working on fics for different fandoms

3) I've noticed myself falling away of sorts when it comes to Squid Game itself, as well as a decline in interactions regarding this fandom

Because of this, I'm announcing a hiatus on this blog that will start around the end of March, 2022. This is to both focus on my studies as well as on different fandoms I'm part of, since I've been neglecting them during the time I was solely focused on Squid Game.

As of now, I've got a handful of fics already written and ready to be published - a few ABC's of intimacy and two smut fics. I'll post these fics during this month and March, so it will be spread out a bit.

I want to thank each and every one of you for all your positive feedback and all the love I've been showered with. I couldn't have done it without all of you! You are all amazing and I love you so much!

I might be back on writing for Squid Game once season 2 drops, or once I find my love for this fandom again through any other means.
