🍒 (cherries) - Does your character have a best friend? How long have they known each other? What do they like most about each other? How did they meet?

I don't think I can provide an accurate answer to this question -- both Esther and Viva had friends back in their village, however, it is hard for me to say whether any of them would be classified as "best friends", or whether that's even a term they'd use to describe their relationships.

That being said, there's one notable person who was close to Viva -- the man, older than her by a couple years, who taught her how to poach. (I think that in early drafts he was supposed to be something of a big brother to her, but now I think it'd be more interesting if they were in a brief relationship at one point.)

💄 (lipstick) - What does your oc think of their face? Do they have a positive or negative opinion? Do they wear makeup? Do they have a skincare routine? What traits do they like most about their face?

Viva: She doesn't think much of it. A face is a face, everybody has one. Wash it like any other part of the body.

Esther: Freckles have always been her insecurity, which only became more pronounced after her arrival at the palace. Initially, Esther wore make up to cover them... However, after learning that Chevalier is fond of her freckles, she changed her mind. Currently, they're something of a point of pride for her.

🍓 (strawberry) - Does your oc believe in anything? Are they superstitious? Religious? Atheistic? Has anything in their past made them this way?

Viva & Esther: They're both religious! Esther more so than Viva. They've been raised this way, but also, faith has offered them a lot of solace in times of hardship. That being said, they don't always agree with the doings of the church itself.

🥩 (steak) - Does your oc have any coping mechanisms? Healthy or unhealthy?

Everybody does something to cope, no?

Viva tends to stay busy, whereas Esther withdraws into herself. It's not particularly healthy for either of them, but well... It isn't too bad, since it's not the only thing they do. They can explain the world to themselves and laugh in the darkest of circumstances. Esther in particular is hard to push into despair. They may reach out to others (especially to each other), or otherwise approach the problem so that the underlying issue is resolved (proactive rather than passive).

Are we playing ping-pong now? :o Beware, I royally sucked at it back in high school. (It was fun, though. You know the "Let the bodies hit the floor" song beginning? We were so bad at making the ball stay on the table that I walked up to my friend and quoted it to her, just as the ball fell AGAIN. We ended up laughing hysterically about it and just going "LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR" as we played lol. I think she also lost a shoe at some point? ...Or was that when we were playing volleyball...)
