This is only tenuously related to jumblr but I'm looking for summer shoes for shabbat and I usually wear sandals during the week in the summer (it gets to the high 30C/90F here) so I would like to like flats but I cannot for the life of me find a pair that doesn't shred my ankle heel up within 2 minutes of walking. Does anyone recommend a good, simple, shul appropriate flat (or other cool (temp-wise) summer shoe) that I can also make the long treks to and from shuls/dinners to in one piece?
