Mic shaves his moustache and Aizawa panics
Tw: kind of a PTSD reaction.
Shouta had been dozing on and off for the last couple of hours, it wasn't that he wasn't tired, it's just that he never slept well when his husband wasn't home.
Hizashi had his usual radio show tonight so when shouta had turned off most of the lights, leaving a couple of lamps on for Hizashi to see by when he got in, and went to bed he felt the usual tenseness in his muscles, his ears trying to pick up every sound within the flat.
He was woken completely by the sound of the keys in the door and could finally start to feel himself relax as he listened to his husband humming to himself in the bathroom. Hizashi had gone straight to the station from a patrol so he probably had to wash his hair still.
It was around an hour later Hizashi crept into the bedroom, leaving the lights off as he knew his way around the room by heart and shuffled himself into the bed. Shouta, having been woken once again, rolled over to wrap his arms around the warm body now next to him.
"sorry I woke you babe" he heard his husband whisper, before feeling a press of lips on his own. The kiss was soft and gentle, nothing more than a greeting. But it was wrong. It felt wrong. This wasn't what Hizashis kisses felt like. This wasn't Hizashi. This wasn't his husband.
Shouta pulled away. There was a stranger in his bed. In his home. Pretending to be Hizashi. He felt his nerves light on fire as his muscles tensed. Pulling away completely he reached for the lamp beside the bed while activating his quirk. He didn't know who he was dealing with so it was best not to take chances.
As the light came on, he was briefly blinded by the low light but refused to close his eyes.
"shou? What's wrong? What's happening?"
It sounded like Hizashi. But it couldn't be. Shouta had been kissing Hizashi for over 10 years. That was not how it should feel. He kept his eyes staring as the imposter came into focus. He even looked like Hizashi.
The hizashi-imposter blinked at him, looking him in the eyes, at his floating hair before realising something, beautiful green eyes going wider. Probably realising that he'd been caught. "Oh, babe" he said, "babe it's me. It's okay. We're alright. It's just me, I promise you. We're safe. Shouta? Can you hear me love?"
There was something wrong about this Hizashi. He certainly looked like the real Hizashi, sounded like him, spoke like him. But there was something-
His moustache.
His moustache was missing.
That silly little blond moustache wasn't there.
That's why he looked wrong that's why it felt wrong when they kissed. Those two stupid little tufts of hair weren't there to catch on shoutas own stubble.
Shouta blinked. Finally blinked, letting his hair drop back down. Though he still couldn't take his eyes off Hizashis naked lip.
"shou? Are you with me yet?"
He nodded, still not quite sure to explain why he has reacted the way he had.
"what happened babe? Am I alright to touch?"
Shouta nodded again and was pulled into a very familiar embrace. He could already feel his heart rate calming and the adrenaline ebbing. "You're moustache..." Was all he could say.
There was a small laugh next to him. "I didn't think you'd notice until at least tomorrow. Everyone kept saying how silly it looked so i thought I'd shave it."
"I didn't- .... You didn't... Kiss like you" shouta had never been very good with his words, but luckily his husband had always understood him.
"Oh. Oh, I'm sorry babe. I should have given you a heads up."
They sat in silence in the lamp light for a while as Hizashi stroked shoutas hair and held him close. Shouta could feel himself coming back, feel himself finally relaxing again, trusting there wasn't any threats about. He eventually pulled away enough to turn out the light.
As they were settling down again Hizashi could just make out a grumbled, "grow the stupid moustache back." From his husband. With a small chuckle he kissed the other man again, thankfully uninterrupted this type and whispered, "I promise".

Au: no quirk
Tw: none
The evening couldn't have been more perfect. It's was a warm spring night with a breeze just cool enough to warrant wearing a beloved comfy jumper.
Shouta walked out of the patio doors and into their new back garden. They had only been in the house for three days, and this afternoon marked the occasion when they finally had unpacked the last box. This was it. They were in their new home, the one they choose because of the extra rooms. Tomorrow they could finally start applying to the adoption agencies.
He waited for his husband to finish hanging the string of softly glowing lights before passing him his glass of wine. "Happy moving in" he said.
"Happy moving in, kitten." Hizashi replied, clinking their glasses together, a short soft press of lips before they both settled into the large outdoor chair, cuddled against one another.
They look a moment to just enjoy the quiet surrounding their new home, further away from the city there was barely any traffic noise, and much less light pollution. They watched as the sun set, as the sky got darker, and as the stars came out; such a rare sight from their last home, they could now enjoy this every night.
Empty glasses now sat on the floor to the side and they curled up in one another's arms, happy to just exist together.
Just as shouta was starting to drift asleep, his head resting on Hizashis shoulder, kept warm with Hizashis arm around him, hes startled by a sudden loud screech. Another deeper one followed, and then something that sounded vaguely like words.
Hizashi started to laugh, "I think Zephyr is trying to serenade us." He said, refering to his cockatoo, who was infact, doing her best to sing to them one of Hizashis aweful popsongs.
"it's a bit of a mood killer." Shouta mumbled, the smile never leaving his face. He leant up to give his husband another kiss. "I'm tired"
"yeah, and we've got another big day tomorrow. Let's head to bed"
As they headed through their new home shouta give the pure white bird a small glare. Hizashi scratched her head through the bars of her cage and wished her a goodnight.

No tw's
They had been quiet for far too long. Having to go into hiding after once again making the Top Ten list, Aizawa and Dezabel had been hunkering down in one of their many safehouses just outside the city.
Shouta had loved every minute. He liked the piece, the quiet, the calm. All he needed in his life was his Hizashi. So long as he could be with him, the rest of the world could burn for all he cared.
But he could see his husband was getting twitchy. Hizashi didn't do well confined. He craved the freedom, the noise and movement of life. He needed an audience. It had been over 2 months since Dezabels last appearance and shouta could see his beloved getting more and more tightly wound the longer they spent here.
Shouta rolled out of bed one morning to find his zashi sat at the table with papers scattered all around him, half written on, scrawled over, pictures roughly sketched, and some balled up and thrown across the room. He went and wrapped his arms around his love pressing his chest against Hizashis back, and kissed into his neck. "What are you working on love?"
"our Come Back performance. I can't stay in here much longer and I want us to come back with a Bang!"
Shouta could tell from how tense his husband was, his leg stimming, that he was wound up and full of an energy he couldn't get rid of. "That sounds like a good idea. We can check if we're off The List after breakfast." He slid a hand from his husband's waist up his chest to press against one of the bars that ran though his nipples. Playing with the piercing he kissed at his husband's neck again, "but why don't we get rid of some of that energy first, songbird?" The deepness of his voice and the rare use of his petname causing Hizashi to groan.
Spinning in his chair he kissed his husband firmly on the lips, "that's the best idea today" he replied before kissing him again and pulling him back towards the bedroom.
It was later as they were tangled in the sheets and tangled together, shouta drifting back into a doze that zashi brought up the subject of their Return again. "I know you don't like the limelight, babe. But you should take part in one of my shows." shouta just opened his eyes to look at him. "You have a great voice when you sing. And I'll be on stage with you"
"these are your shows. You're the star of them. Not me."
"no. But you're my soulmate. You're just as much a part of me as my quirk is"
".... I'll consider it" shouta really didn't like having attention from strangers. He tolerated it from his friends. The only person he actively craved attention from was Hizashi. But he would also do anything for his husband, his soulmate, this beautiful man.
They were still on The List which meant they would still be arrested on sight, when they checked after breakfast. This meant they had at least another week in hiding. But that suited shouta fine as he had an idea of how he could 'take part' in their return show but needed some time to figure it out properly.
A week later and they were free once again to return to the city and the second they were back Hizashi, or rather, Dezabel, was a whirlwind of organisation. He gathered his backup performers and found the venue he wanted and got everything arranged and ready for their show that night. Shouta was always amazed with how his love could do so much in such a short ammount of time. Before he knew it, it was show time.
Shouta was in his usual place, unseen in the crowd. He loved getting to watch his husband perform, he was incredible, beautiful, and mesmerising. He loved being a part of the crowd, just like the first time he saw his love. But now he also listened to the crowd. Taking out any threats of rebellion or talk of escape. People don't usually notice him in a crowd which meant he was the perfect spy amongst them to weed out any threats.
"Failure find me to tie me up now. Cause I'm as bad, as bad as it gets" his husband's unique voice sounded out across the room. As always commanding the attention of everyone in there. "Failure find me to hang me up now. Bite my neck cause I'm a fate worse than death" the lyrics were quite different to his usual shows, and shouta smiled at his husband's voice singing them.
A light flooded the makeshift stage, lighting up his husband in a breathtaking contrast of light and shadows. He looked more than just incredible. He didn't even look real, so beautiful and powerful with his golden hair floating and framing him like wings, shouta was sure he had somehow managed to marry an angel.
"Good even my captive audience! How are we all doing tonight?" Dezabels voice resounded out. "You have all been invited to our exclusive Come Back performance! How lucky are you? I have a special treat for you this evening! This first song was written by my dear husband and I want you to show your appreciation so let's hear some screams!" And with that the music swelled again, the base vibrating through the floor as his magnificent songbird started the best performance these people will ever see.
Shouta realised his mistake the second the front door slammed shut.
He was so stupid! Why would he do such a thing?! He'd seen the name come up on his phone, Witching Hour, and since he was planning a surprise for his beloved, he went into another room to answer the call. He knew his fiancée had some issues with trust. He demanded respect, to be seen, to be heard, and shouta was more than happy to give him everything. It was because he wanted to give him everything that shouta found himself here. In an empty flat, the love of his life out on the street alone. He knew his Hizashi well enough to know he would need to vent, cause some chaos to get the anger out, but he was still alone out there where he could get hurt.
So shouta grabbed his knifes and his capture scarf and took to the roofs to protect his soulmate.
Hizashi wasn't hard to find. He was walking down the Main Street, in the middle of the road, singing along to the music blasting through his headphones. His volume loud enough to cause the people still out to cover their ears, not that it would protect them much, shouta was wearing the special earplugs his partener had given him and he could still feel his ears ringing from this distance.
As Hizashi hit a high note the windows of several cars shattered setting off their alarms. Shouta took a moment to admire Dezabel in all his chaotic glory. Tall and handsome with blond hair that flowed like water past his hips, even as angry and upset as he was he was the most beautiful thing shouta had ever seen, surrounded by shattered glass, flashing lights, and terrified people. Dezabel was in his element.
It was when he noticed the blue lights mixing with the white lights of ruined cars that shouta knew he had to move. The police were on their way and Dezabel was very much a wanted criminal so they would be bringing heavy reinforcements.
Dezabels heavenly voice was cut short when the first fireblast past him. Shouta was right, endeavour had been called to try and bring him down. It wouldn't work of course, his Hizashi was unstoppable, but shouta moved closer anyway, jumping from one roof to the next until he had endeavour in his sights.
Dezabel had a smile on his face, ready for a fight, shouting something at the hellfire hero that shouta couldn't catch, not at this distance, not with his ears still ringing from his loves earlier stress singing. As soon as endeavour raised his arm to attack his beloved, shouta activated his quirk and the fire died out. The second Dezabel saw the flames extinguish themselves he burst out into laughter. "You don't stand a CHANCE!" He bellowed, the hero taking the full brunt of a solid soundwave. "NOT! AGAINST! US!" he screamed. Each word hitting the hero harder than any punch could. By the time Dezabel was done the hero lay unconscious on the floor, blood running from his ears, and surrounded by the rubble of the destroyed building he'd been standing on front of. Dezabels power was unfathomable.
Shouta watched as his wonderfully destructive fiancee looked around. "Babe! Come down here! I know you're around!" Shouta dropped from the roof he stood on. He would do anything his love asked of him. Walking over to the god infront of him, he saw Hizashi smile at him. He walked straight into his open arms, wondering not for the first time how he got so lucky to have Hizashi love him back.
"why did you do that babe?" Hizashi asks him quietly.
"Witching Hour found us a minister. We can get married. I wanted to surprise you."
The grin on his sweethearts face at that was so bright, shouta believed it could burn a thousand cities to the ground.
"I love you, my shadow"
"I love you too, my songbird"
Loki gets a replacement hoodie
I’m sorry! I couldn’t help myself.
@jollychick wanted to hear more of the last story. I’m not sure if this is what you expected but I just couldn’t not! Thank you for the encouragement.
***
It was Clints idea, but Tony funded it.
They had put the call out months before but, finally, someone had responded.
***
It had been Loki's favourite hoodie before she had gotten pregnant, but with how soft and baggy it was, and the fact that after only four months she'd had to shift into her Joten form, it had become one of her only comforts, and one of her only old clothes that still fit.
The day she had found a hole worn into it she hadn't stopped crying for hours. The pregnancy hormones intensified her guilt for ruining the present the Spiderling had bought her years before.
"If I can't keep a piece of clothing safe, how can I protect this child?!" She'd sobbed. Even Thor telling her she'd done well raising her other five, now fully grown children hadn't helped.
***
Clint had gone to Tony after he'd found Loki asleep on a couch, three days later, cheeks tear stained and using the faded, threadbare hoodie as a pillow.
"There must be a collector somewhere that still has one." He'd said.
"Peter said he'd just bought it from a street stall. I doubt it was anything official. I think the art was probably stolen." But he went to the internet anyway and searched. He put up advertisements on his social media and message boards offering hundreds in exchange for a $5 hoodie.
***
Finally finally someone had responded. Because of the cheap make the green was slightly off compared to the old one, but it was the same design, the same yellow highlights and even the same size. The donator had asked the money be donated to charity, but they wouldn't turn down some autographs from the Avengers.
Clint and Tony presented it together; They headed it over in a box with a grin.
When Loki opened it and saw the familiar image she burst into tears again and hadn't stopped crying, or hugging her new hoodie, for hours.
Humans are weird concept. Shy people who are in authority. Now. This has stemmed from someone I personally know. He's the manager of a gym, one of my spin instructors, manages a Sunday run club and built like a shed. He's just a small (5'2") solid wall of muscle. And he's one of the shyist people I know. He's quiet, will only join a conversation if you bring him into it. And yet. Get him leading a class and he's suddenly a drill instructor. Loud. Powerful. A leader. He pushed your limits to the max. And can be rather scary at times. Now imagine an alien meeting someone like this. ******* Sek'this had reservations about this human. He is meant to be the one to lead their team into unknown territory on the hostile planet Tenrai. But this human is quiet. He is shy. He doesn't speak, just stands away from the group watching. Sek'this has a feeling he shall be taking charge in the humans place. It is clear that this human, undecorated and unmodified like most of his species, will not be able to hold the will of the rest of the group. The team is a roudy one. They are loud, the humans fighting amongst themselves, rough housing they call it, and the Tixxrek are known to only follow a pack leader, or they will cause trouble where they stand. When the team get attacked by what the humans call "rapotors" the human leader changesed. Sek'this was surprised to see this human straighten up and bellow orders to the team. The Tixxrek falling into formation within seconds and obeying every command. The human was, without question, in charge. He scared Sek'this with how dominant he presented. He was strong, taller than he really was, powerful, and loud. After the raptors were killed, and the casualties seen to, the human regressed back into the quiet human of before. Sek'this learnt, that day, not to trust a first impression when it came to humans. They don't present who they are like his own species does. Humans can change. And change within seconds.

Dezabel had always been one for theatrics. In fact the first time Shouta had seen him properly was when he held the entire subway station he was at hostage so he could put on a show. "His captive audience" he'd called them all.
He liked to be loud, and showy, and dramatic, and at the moment he was dancing to the music blasting through their current flat.
Shouta watched as his newly married husband moved with the music, completely enjoying himself and getting into the rhythm. He couldn't stop himself from smiling when Dezabel started to sing. He had the most amazing voice. His range and control were beyond anyone else, dead or alive. He could be whisper soft during the dead of the night as they were tangled under the sheets and tangled in each others arms, barely making a noise while he told shouta how much he loved him, and he could be loud and forceful enough to smash builds to rubble with his scream.
Watching as Dezabel stalked towards him, clearly intending to bring him into the performance as well. Shouta only realised the lyrics when Dezabel dropped to the floor Infront of him, his hands gently stroking his hips. "If you were church" he sang, "I'll get on my knees." The look he was giving shouta was utterly filthy. His stunning red eyes staring up at him from behind his glasses. "Confess my love, I'll know where to be~" shouta watched as this amazing man bit his lip and leant closer, bringing his face closer to shoutas hips, mouth opening as he took a breath, only to smoothly stand up again, carrying on with the song.
He pulled shouta closer to him to slot their bodies together, "My sanctuary, you're holy to me." He sang into his ear, causing shouta to shiver.
He watched as Dezabel pulled away to carry on his performance, making it more lustful than shouta believed the song was meant to be. This was a feeling he still wasn't completely used to yet. Shouta had always considered himself aesexual, never having or wanting an attraction to someone. But Dezabel was different. Hizashi was different. Shouta felt possessive of him, wanting him and needing him, and sometimes that extended to needing him in the bedroom.
But just because shouta was coming to terms with the idea of sex, he still wasn't great at picking up when his incredible husband wanted it. Was this just a performance? Or was Hizashi hinting he was in the mood? Shouta certainly was as he watched the man drop to his knees again and turned the general "oh" noises of the song into moans that he's sure wouldn't be allowed to be sold on CDs.
Hizashi powerful voice rang out through the flat as the song was coming to an end, fluidly standing up again, running his hands up shoutas body as he did, he finished the song with their lips almost touching.
Shou knew what he wanted, and he knew Hizashi would say if he didn't want it right now. With that in mind shouta closed the small space left between them to hungrily kiss his husband. Hizashi gave a small chuckle when they pulled appart, "you liked that show?" He asked as shouta kissed at his neck.
"hmm" was the only reply he got as he was manhandled backwards through the room. His delighted laugh could be heard over the music of the next song blasting out as he was pushed into the bedroom.
