I’d like DLC characters and stages, so long as they’re not expensive and they occasionally give out free ones.

I'd think that characters would be free if done individually. Having to pay for a single character is...actually a bit much. If they're released in packs, however, I can definitely see it.

I think they could use DLC to promote games that are released post-release date (hoenn pokemon to promote the ruby and sapphire remakes ect)

Hoenn will be coming before the Wii U version, actually, so it'd still be in the window.

I agree. Stuff that they couldn't add during development is better. I can definitely see DLC being used to add things from future releases, but unfortunately, that leaves very few options for what doesn't count as "something they could have during development". Perhaps stages they couldn't have for some reason.

Well, to each their own, but the idea of more content seems to have very few drawbacks.

Ill be okay with it,as long as its not something that should have been in the game already,i guess like characters.

Characters, I'm not so sure about. Really, if you think about it, there's a lot of characters that can't be playable outside of a post-release DLC because of time restraints or limitations. It only leaves things that were released afterwards, or third-parties that they couldn't get deals with beforehand. However, I can definitely see it being used for stages. And if we DO delve into characters, third-parties would be the way to go - I can see a Shin Megami Tensei character coming out as DLC due to Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, for instance.

But really, anything that they couldn't add during development would probably be a DLC.
