Well the time period and violent lives they lead doesn’t make for a very healthy relationship. So them being together would take a lot of work to settle the power imbalance and fears they have (which is whyyyyy i’m always ambivalent on the ship being romantic w e l p) and i headcanon that one will die in front of the other fairly early on, either jack in trusting someone too blindly or samy doing a too risky move :(
