When I was little, I had an inkling of what Yugioh was but I wasn’t very interested. I got into the actual fandom about three years ago when the original Yugioh Duel Monsters aired on Nicktoons and my bro forced me to watch it. I later on became obsessed!
Same, I think I might have read a few of the mangas, and my brother made me watch a few eps, but I wasn’t interested. Then I discovered the abridged series about four years back and liked that. I watched the Pyramid of Light movie with my sister as a joke and we both thought it was horrible, but then my sister was interested and started watching DM. I eventually started watching that too and learned that I liked it far better than the abridged...and it just grew from there XD
