Ooo whumpy things okay. Recently I’ve been really feeling the hidden injury trope. Truly a classic for me I can remember little Kat searching “avengers fanfiction Tony stark hidden injury” on her family’s iPod (and erasing the search history lol). Broken ribs are such a classic for that trope but I also love a good bloody injury reveal of Oh No! My Jacket has Fallen Aside! The Blood! It is So Visible Now!

Ooh... ! Hidden injuries are so good! I love characters hiding them until collapsing and people frantically pulling away clothing to try to find it.

I don't think I ever googled it specifically, but I definitely read a lot of fanfic that users that trope!

I think my favorite use of it is "shoddy bandaging job where character thinks it's fine (but knows its probably not) and ends up getting worse so character collapses leading to team members finding blood-soaked bandages". Also. I like characters that are all "I trust you but I still don't trust you" because i love emotional hurt/comfort so it scratches that itch perfectly. So good. So good.

for the ask game… let’s go with cia’s a creep to wars (again)!

Oh, this one's fun!

Premise is Cia portals Wars away from the Chain in the dead of night. It takes place somewhere I made up as I treated it as "exiled to who knows where" which is a fun sandbox to play in. Cia uses magic to deage Wars back to to age during the War and then proceeds to try to convince him to be her lover. Obviously, it doesn't work so she has him thrown in a dungeon the place has. It's not done or near-completion by any means, but I plan on a "attempts to torture into submission" and still planning out the ending.

Legend gets poisoned!! It must be the season! Tell me about it please.

Yesssss!

I don't have much written yet on it, but so far the beginning is that Legend was walking in town by himself, gets jumped, and kinda goes down for the count for a bit.

When he gets back up, he starts having symptoms but brushes them off because that's just stuff his body does already. Legs want to give out? Body naturally does that from time to time. Really tired all of a sudden? Eh, he didn't sleep well last night. Etc, etc...

I haven't thought much further than that but obviously he lives and they all keep a closer eye on each other. They can't have a repeat.

11. Well... I technically have multiple? My phone is one technically, hand sanitizer is a good one, but when I'm like at someone's house with my things? A plushie and a blanket. The plushie and blanket has changed over the years but I still need a plushie and blanket when I go to spend the night at people's places lol :³ oh and also my gazillion warrior cat books-

7. Emotional or physical whump?

Emotional. I love me a good injury, but that emotional hurt/comfort hits differently.

14. Favorite type of caretaker?

Hmm... I don't think I tend to find out favorites. I just kinda know what I like in the moment. That being said, I do enjoy caretakers who is no-nonsense but knows when whumpee needs a kind touch and gentle words.

18. Do you prefer visual whump or written whump? Any reason why?

Both are so good, but I prefer written. It's easier to fit in all those whumpy words and it's easier for me to enjoy reading it. But I do enjoy a good scene in media as well. I also read fanfiction more than anything else throughout my day.

21. Platonic or romantic whump?

Platonic like 99% of the time. I don't really like "whump brings us together" but I do enjoy certain "I'm taking care of you because I already love you" sometimes. I prefer no romance unless the couple has been established (like Time/Malon in Linked Universe) or when I ship the two characters together anyway (like Levi/Erwin).

I think my favorite way is either through straight-up collapsing or unable to silently deal with the pain any longer, so any sound is cause to conduct a thorough search for the cause.
