I wonder if it would help to do something like an AMA about writing disabled characters? I'm physically and mentally disabled myself, so I do have experience with this. I guess I just worry because I've seen a lot of disability being used as tragedy porn, as just suffering in itself and not in all of its complexities.

Like, some people will write a chronic disability but it's very obvious that they're treating it like an acute injury from the way they write it. It's about the banality of suffering. It's... a sort of conditioning.
