they say joe has a fully sentient shadow. seems silly, right? i mean, joe wouldn't go back and keep killing someone sapient, he's not like that. but the thing is... his shadow is different. aggressive. and it stalks him until he's forced to kill it in self-defense, again and again as his shadow - affectionately nicknamed "joekills" - continues to grow in power and intelligence. ~@/betweenlands

I love this. But joe would need to summon his shadow, again and again, every time after killing it. Why would he do that? What is he trying to do?
