Just played 5 hours on Vintage Story Shadow Realms EU server. I'm going to give a quick summary of the first day! Technically the second, but due to delays, most people only started today. I was part of the largest guild on the server, Starfall.
For some reason, we started in the dead of winter. We were all incredibly cold, though we were provided some insulated clothing. The main consequence of this was that we couldn't get many berries or start any farms yet, and had a died of exclusively meat. As the innkeeper, the cooking was my job. Usually this was 4 redmeat Megastew. The one time it wasn't was, well...
"Green With Glops". A terrible onion and bush meat soup that made nobody feel happy. Everyone immediately realised the reprocussions of making the British person the chef.
We did, however, make good progress! The server has gated progression by time, so we're stuck in the copper age untill the 15th. As such, we made the most of it, doing what we could to progress as much as possible though the cold winter. We built a bridge, though I don't have an image of it.
A friend of mine also built this. We call it the Kobold Den. Nobody but kobolds can fit. He's chiseling an entire house in there.
Anyway after realising that we couldn't progress in many ways and after most of the server had logged off for the night, The guild leader and I did the only reasonable thing: go insane and kill as many bears as possible.
This image doesn't show the 2 other bears we had on the meat racks outside. From these bears we plan on making ourselves some bear armour- black for the guilf leader since it fits her character and brown for me as my character has a brown beard and I think it would be funny. Then I logged off for the night. Tomorrow I'll give another update! Here's to season 3!
