Oscar-nominated actor Graham Greene, celebrated for his role in Dances with Wolves, died on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 73, after a lengthy illness. Greene, a Canadian Indigenous actor who helped challenge stereotypes in Hollywood, was best known for his breakthrough performance as Kicking Bird in the 1990 film and also appeared in other notable projects like The Green Mile, Maverick, and Wind River.
