It's the birthday of Shadow's game! As is tradition, here is a repost of the fanvid in which I show that the Metroid Prime opening cutscene theme syncs bizarrely well with the intro to Shadow's game.

One thing I always liked about Shadow's game was that they really played around with the lighting, depending on Shadow's current alignment. The more Good Shadow was, the more natural and soft the light was. Likewise, you take him down the Pure Dark path, and you gonna see the lighting shift to below his face, giving emphasis on the darkness around his eyes and really washing out the color of his face, as if to imply he's certainly not himself. These images are all from the many endings (minus the Last one), from order of Hero to Dark
When the shadow fandub comes out, we will be different people I think. Like it will be a Cultural reset I think.
it will be!! deadass i love the cultural waves the fandubs have made cus like. im pretty sure you can know nothing about sonic or everything about sonic, and theyll still be the same amount of funny. and ive seen people admit that they started liking sonic unironically cus of them! which is awesome!
ngl i havent played Shadow's Game and im too intimidated to dive into its plot dgfhj,, anyone whos memorized all that and in the right order(s) are super-intelligent and have my respect. im also just past that age where i can willingly watch a cutscene compilation and absorb the lore that way. the Riders dub helped me "learn" about those games' events, and im hoping i can pull that off with the next one too lol

Did you know? The opening song to Metroid Prime syncs well to the opening of Shadow’s game.
