For my own sake, I gonna have to get an adult social care assessment bc I'm struggling every single day and I dont have anyone who can make it down every day to help me (which is fine, dgmw).
But my local council doesnt have an online self referral form...meaning I have to call them.
And there is every chance that I am offered no home care support at all, which...I dont what to do if thats the case.
#i am somewhat traumatised from adult social care (thanks mum) so...this is a big thing for me#it terrifying...especially knowing strangers will have to come into my home to asses me#hate hate hate this lmao#me talking#i do have options if i do qualify#i can either get a professional carer...or i can get a budget to essentially employ someone i know to help me#but again...no one can make it down every day and most of my friends are either disabled too or have a job already#so....im gonna have to bite the bullet and go for a professional carer#again...thats if i qualify#which i might not#tho given that i have moderate to slightly severe autism and mental health and physically health issues#i might just qualify#we'll see...
