Backstory: Jiji Kawasaki is Kage (Shadow) Kawasaki's prideful and bratty younger sister. Like her sibling, she is a cat yokai and is close to his power level. Jiji is talented, hotheaded, and often disregards orders, always striving to prove that she is better than Kage. However, beneath her confident exterior lies a deep insecurity about not being loved. She tends to self-sabotage her chances of forming friendships out of fear of getting too close to others. Jiji harbors a dark secret from Kage and his allies: she is actually a "homunculus," created by her late biological father Knight Kawasaki's vengeful ex-lover, Yoko Kawasaki. Yoko, a psychotic hermit witch, seeks revenge by targeting Knight's pride and joy, Kage. In a twisted turn of events, Jiji can be forced to unlock her sleeper agent orders to assassinate her older brother, a fate she fears may come to pass. Although she has grown very close to her brother's side of the family, she constantly wonders when that terrible day will arrive.

Jiji Kawasaki is the spirited and proud younger sister of Kage (Shadow) Kawasaki. As one of the strongest fighters in The Crusaders, her confidence often borders on arrogance, making her a source of being the biggest 'pain in their asses' for her ex-Shadow Warriors teammates, The Crusaders, and even her more understanding younger brother. But hey, it's siblings, am I right? After causing significant trouble by harassing their team leader, Retroman, Jiji faced a suspension. When she returned, she was determined to make amends, but her teammates were hesitant to trust her intentions. Enter Tony Rico, alias 'The Fire Sprite' and sidekick of Doctor Flame. Believing in second chances, he stepped in to support Jiji on patrol. This small act of kindness ignited something unexpected within her. As they worked together, Jiji and Tony began to grow closer, creating a spark that hinted at something more profound. Is it just a “will they, won’t they” scenario, or is there more to their connection?
