Itsjimonbitches's questions:
1.] What’s your favorite book?
You did not just ask me that question. You expect me to pick ONE?! Please. I have a whole folder on my Kindle dedicated to my faves. A handful of them are
The Summoning - Carol Wolf
Power and Majesty - Tansy Rayner Roberts
City of Bones - Cassandra Clare
The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
The Silvered - Tanya Huff
And All The Stars - Andrea K. Host
Those are just some of the ones I've most recently read/reread.
2.] TMI or TID; why?
TMI. Mostly because I will almost always pick modern settings over non-modern ones (or even post-modern), and because the steampunk-esqueness of TID turns me off a little. That's literally the only way I can choose, because in all other respects I love them both equally. They are just...heart-stopping.
3.] OTP?
otpS, darling. Hm. I have a weird relationship with otps; I can have several in a single fandom. For example, I love Jimon, but I also adore Jace/Clary. And whenever there's a love triangle, you can depend on me to have an ot3, not an otp. So: Riku/Sora/Kairi, Will/Tessa/Jem, Harry/Luna, Sam/Dean, Dean/Cas, Zillah/Nothing, Sam/Ny'teri, Daemon/Janaelle...I could go on all day.
4.] What are you drinking right now?
Nothing. But I want some more pineapple-apple-pear juice. Only we just ran out. Sigh.
5.] What is/was for dinner?
Fish balls! :D Like fish cakes, tuna fish cakes, but in ball shapes.
6.] Is Nugget a good name for a chicken?
I have no idea. I have no opinion on it.
7.] If a rooster laid an egg on a slanted roof, which way would the egg roll?
Roosters don't lay eggs...
8.] Cats or Dogs?
I used to be solely a cat person, but then the hubby and I brought Vegas home - our little chihuahua - and I love him to pieces! So. I guess both?
9.] Fanfiction; why or why not?
I love fanfiction. I love it as a thing which exists, and I love writing it. I think authors who forbid fanfiction of their stories have completely missed the point of what stories ARE; you might write a story, but the second you put it out into the world, what you meant it to be doesn't matter anymore. All art touches people in different ways; a poem can mean a thousand things to a thousand different people. Fanfiction is a way of expressing that, and I've never heard a decent argument for how it can be harmful. Fanfiction is GOOD. Sure, a lot of it is terrible - but it's an expression of love. How can that not be amazing? I hope that when I eventually get published, people write a TON of fanfic of my stuff. That would be the coolest thing!
10.] You’re trapped on a desert island and you can only bring three things, what are these three things?
A gps and a phone, so I can tell someone where I am. And my kindle so I can read until they come find me.
11.] William Herondale or Jace Herondale; why?
Jace, because I like the conflict of his story more. I'm more invested in his story, and I like his backstory, more than I do Will's. As people, I think they both rock (although I don't think I'd want to be romantically involved with either of them!), but as characters I want to read about Jace more than I do Will.
My Questions;
1.] What’s your favourite tv show?
2.] What was the last film you watched?
3.] OTP/s?
4.] If money was no object, where would you want to live?
5.] What's one thing - in your life or that you know of - that's beautiful?
6.] If you had to dye your hair a non-natural colour for one day, which colour would you pick?
7.] If a rooster laid an egg on a slanted roof, which way would the egg roll?
8.] WHY IN GOD'S NAME ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME?
9.] Favourite book?
10.] You’re trapped on a desert island and you can only bring three things, what are these three things?
11.] Tessa Gray or Clary Fray? Why?
