I finally got around to finishing your fic Shattered Pieces and I must say--

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

It's wonderful. Very, very good. I'm upset with myself that I didn't read it sooner, but at the same time I'm glad I waited to read the Guardians of Childhood books beforehand because some of that context was very much appreciated. I took a look at your billboard post about how the plot progressed, and it's inspired me to take planning for my less silly fics more in-depth (if they'll ever see the light of day).

That is to say I think Shattered Pieces is a really great exploration of Jack and Pitch both as characters and romantic partners. Just. All the mwahs. ❤

But there is one small issue... I think it's criminal we only have one drawing from you of Skreevlick Shadowbent. That scene after the final fight where he shields Jack with his cape is seared into my brain. I'd love to see a more bodily rendition of Shadowbent in your artstyle, if that's something you've been wanting to do.

Summary: For RotG Secret Santa, Prompt: . [Jack/Shadowbent] After the Guardians go through a particularly bad fight, Shadowbent offers to patch up Jack’s injuries.

It's what it says on the tin. After a battle, Jack ends up somewhere oddly familiar and runs into a face he'd forgotten. When that face offers him more than he'd had in a long while, he literally just nopes out of the situation, as all socially ept people do.

Frostwolf - Jack ‘Frost’ and Shadowbent is a wolfman

Wolfice - Shadowbent is a wolfman and Jack has ice powers 

Lunarctic - Arctic because of Jack’s ice powers and Luna because they both ‘howl’ at the moon 

AlpineFrost - Carpathians in Transilvania is the Transilvanian Alps, Jack is from Appalachia and they share the central pangean mountains. + frost 

Spindrift - Mountain snow on the wind is called Spindrift. Uses same mountain reasoning as alpinefrost 

Lunarlations - Ululation + lunar because they both ‘howl’ at the moon

I'm curious, who's Shadowbent?

shadowbent is from the book series Guardians of childhood ( the book series for rotg !) he is a werewolf ! honestly i dont really know how to actually explain him haha like with it being like a good explanation besides that hes just a character from the books lol hes not a good guy but hes not a bad guy him an jack are like frenemies as the wiki would put it lol , hes the commander for the werewolves best way to put it they go after people who attack those who are weaker then them
