Raindrop
Send me a ‘Raindrop’ for my muse’s reaction to seeing yours standing on their doorstep soaking wet in the rain.
It never rained on Jakku. Their storms were of the sandy variety. So the fact that there was rain splashing against the durasteel hull of her Whitecloak fighter amazed Guin. Of course, she wasn’t on Jakku right now. She’d only stopped on Lothal to refuel and refill her provisions and medkit. But the rain made it hard to leave the warm interior of the ship. Startled by the sudden knock on the ship’s hull, she set down her mug of caf and went to see who…or what…was outside. Seeing a young woman practically drenched to the bone, she pulled the poor thing inside and quickly got her a towel and a blanket for when she’d dried off. “What were you doing out there in such a storm?”
