It had been months since she had seen Valynne, and after Haven, she hadn’t been able to get any messages out. The priority at the time of moving from Haven to Skyhold required silence, she didn’t want any roaming red Templars or venatori to find them on their path. They were very vulnerable so it was best if everyone thought they were dead at the moment. IT allowed their trip to move more soundly. She was pretty sure it only took a few days after word had been sent out that the Inquisition lived and settled in Skyhold.
Leliana just stared for a moment at Valynne in the entrance of Skyhold. She didn’t know what to think about this, she thought Valynne had gone out to find a cure for the Taint and yet…. she was here. But there wasn’t even a second guess of what to do next. Leliana swept Valynne into her arms, her hood falling back as her lips connected with the Hero of Ferelden. Her hand caressed her neck as a passionate fiery kiss pushed against Val’s. “How? How did you get here so quickly?” She asked, as she hadn’t been expecting her and she didn’t spy on Valynne which is why her crows didn’t know she was near.
