The tension between Alec and Clary was almost visible and while you couldn’t do anything against Alec’s frustration, knowing he would only push you away like everybody else, you wanted to help Clary.

Clary’s Face lightend up a little bit but you could see that she was still tense. You smiled at her. “Come on. Let me give you a good back massage. That always helps. After that you will see it isn’t as bad as it looks.” “You don’t have to”, she gave back but you could see that only the thought of a massage made her eyes start shining.

That’s why you walked to her. “I want to, so don’t worry.”
