At least it was a kiss, not almost kiss like in promo to 2A 3) Am I seeing things or did they change the lector/speaker at the end? He has slightly higher voice than the previous one…

Shadowhunters 2x08

HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS CHAPTER WAS SO PERFECT, THAT I CAN’T EVEN… I mean… Woah! Climon, Malec, Mama Lightwood and MAGNUS FREAKING BANE BEEING A BADASS WARLOCK HE IS, GIVES ME LIFE HELL YEAH!! I even felt sorry for Maryse… And that Raphael and Izzy scene?! So freaking good! And I stopped my player when Alec jumped, ‘cause it was horryfing and I had to pull myself togerher after this… Seriously, I think this is my fav chapter so far *.* (But I disliked Max… meh, small price…Good job, writers, good job, I approve ^^

I’ve got a sneaky sneaky suspicion that the demon needed to destroy the soul sword is gonna be Asmodeus. Welp. Looks like we have our 2B season arc ready

I understand why people are upset and have some criticism about this week’s episode and how it was marketed. But sending countless tweets to the showrunners, writers or cast is not going to solve much. 

The marketing issue; that is all Freeform. I agree that they should not be using Malec as a main episode selling point when they have very few scenes in the episode, it is misleading and only causes grief afterwards. We love Malec, but we also watch for the other characters. Even if there were no Malec sneak peeks, photos or promos I would still watch the episode every week; and I bet most others would too. There was also the issue of them releasing photos of scenes that had been cut or shortened, but I kinda handled that in a previous post (I am still not happy about this though, it was so disappointing to wait for specific scenes to realise they had been cut). 

Okay, on to the criticism. I understand wanting to express your views and being upset; I am in no way saying your feelings are not valid.

However, bombarding the showrunners with harsh tweets is not going to solve anything. We may end up alienating them, they may stop being so communicative with us.  

If you have an issue then rant here first, I encourage ranting (as you see I do it myself) it helps you get your feelings heard and talk with people feeling the same; it also gives you a chance to process. After, if you still want to contact the showrunners then do so in a calm, respectful way; and if you can, send something positive too either about another scene or the amazing cast (seriously we are blessed with this cast). 

The episode cannot be changed now, but we can encourage them to do better in the future. 

Your feelings and criticisms are valid; but we should be respectful of the team behind the show. We have no guarantee that we will get more seasons, so we should be generating as much positivity as possible. For future seasons everyone, the crew & cast & writers & showrunners & directors & Freeform, have to be on board; if they start feeling doubt it could threaten the chance of more seasons, which we don’t want. 

So, I am not trying to berate people or make people feel invalid; I am just trying to encourage more positivity. 

We love the show, despite it’s faults, so lets make sure that the showrunners, writers, cast etc. know that we love, support and appreciate them.
