Shadowlust - Fluid Distortions

Shadowlust is 2 producers (Svengalisghost and 51717) who recently released their debut-album "Trust in Pain" on L.I.E.S. The album is something you gotta prepare yourself for. Dark industrial electronica, a bit new wavy and experimental.

"Fluid Distortions" is one of the more approachable tracks (to me). The soundscape gains density throughout the 6 minutes and feels like it rushes along you. With a dark, but subtly seductive atmosphere the track shortly submerges you in a dream-like place; not quite a nightmare but weird nonetheless. I find it fascinating.

And I guess that when producing music that's never meant to be played on a dancefloor, there must be more emotions in it, because the track must stand for itself. There must be content, intentions and feelings, independently of how dancy or ravy it is, otherwise it gets boring.
