Ah, I just found this blog, and I have a major question (which means I'm totally into this). For the sake of the argument, Karamatsu dies, so what happens to Shadowmatsu? Does he die too, or does he just move on to someone else? Thanks!

//hmmm. Well in the unfortunate event that Karamatsu dies, Shadowmatsu would simply leave Karamatsu’s body. Though, the odds of him moving onto someone else are not likely at all.

Okay random thought but here it is: What if Shadow and Kara had some petty argument going on? Since they share a body would they just go back and forth at each other or is there some weird "ghost" situation going on with the one that's out of the body? None the less, Kara would kinda look like something's wrong with him or that he's plain crazy if anyone else caught him and Shadow fighting if that were the case, yes? [sorry if this was too weird :'D ]

Okay- so this might be a little hard to explain for me… This will all mainly be stuff that I  made up for the purpose of this blog. While I have done a little research on being “double-souled” it doesn’t really satisfy me. Therefore, I wanted to make up my own way of how it works.

So! At this point, think of it as there being two “souls” (I put soul in quotations because that’s..not exactly what I want you to think they are..? But at this point, that’s the best word I can think of) within Kara’s one body.

ShadowMatsu’s soul is “less dense” and smaller than Kara’s; this is because if it were the same, it might cause quite a bit of discomfort. Make sense? When ShadowMatsu’s “soul” entered Kara’s body, it basically smushed itself against  Kara’s. (I’m sorry this probably makes no sense hah)

Now, don’t be confused by the way I coloured this. This doesn’t represent what parts of the body each “soul” has control of. This was just to show how they spread and how they lie within the body.

You might be wondering about how often each one has control, yeah?This is where that other source comes in. I read that two souls CAN co-exist in one body harmoniously. However, that doesn’t mean they are both always in control. Most of the time (we’ll say maybe… 70% of the time?) Kara is the one in control. While Kara is in control, Shadow’s soul goes into sort of a “dormant” state, and vice versa. Though, when either one is dormant, this doesn’t mean that they don’t know what’s going on in a situation. They can also communicate in a telepathic sort of way, but sometimes, when  Kara is in control, he forgets to think it instead of speak it, and that’s when it can look weird.

Also, as Shadowmatsu said, he can only have control when Kara needs him to have control. Or,ShadowMatsu can ask permission, and Kara is able to grant that permission. I like to think of it as the movie, Inside Out. Just imagine little ShadowMatsu and little Karamatsu at a control panel in the brain.

So- to actually answer your question- if they did ever get into an argument (which they most likely will) it would look a little strange. Along with the thing I said about the telepathy, when Kara DOES think instead of speak, he makes weird facial expressions, so either way, it can look pretty weird. Haha.

I hope this cleared up some things?? Maybe?This AU is a little different, so I encourage you guys to ask questions when you don’t understand what’s going on! Because, it’s no fun when you don’t understand what’s happening, right? c: If I didn’t answer your question well, please, ask more questions!

I am actually very passionate about music! I love listening to it, and making it. I hope to learn even more instruments in the future! I wanna learn piano next!

There’s six of us too! We just aren’t sextuplets haha. I guess I can kinda relate to the matsuno brothers…huh maybe not..One of those stepbrothers is older than me, so I guess that kinda makes me the Ichimatsu of the family, yeah?
