Stop that thief! [Franziska & ...]

It was a cold morning. It was a bleak morning. The moment that Franziska stepped foot outside of her apartment building, letters in hand, she found that she could not see for very far in front of her. Nox had been enveloped in a thick fog which was swallowing any soul that dared to oppose it's tendrils.
Franziska clicked her tongue and pulled her scarf tighter around her neck. She was not in the mood for such weather. She had an appointment at Imperial University and as eager as she was to keep to it, there was also some uncharacteristic nervousness about her.
She shrugged it away. Being nervous was foolish and she could not accept that, so she headed into the city centre, ignoring the feeling of dread that was slowly wrapping itself around her. It only took a few minutes for her to encounter busy roads and streets, packed with cars and people, and Franziska realised that the fog had lifted a bit and she could see at least to the pavement opposite.
Her gaze was not registering the action taking place before her at first, until she snapped to attention. An unidentifiable person was wrestling a bag from a teenage girl. The girl held on to her bag, her eyebrows knitted together and her stance held. With a shove from the attacker, the girl fell backward with a shout and the attacker ran away with the bag in hand. Franziska crossed the road quickly, and after checking that the girl was alright, assured her that she would get her bag back. All she would have to do was wait at the police station.
Franziska turned to another person standing by, "I will not be doing this alone, it could prove dangerous. Come with me."
