         Queenie feels like she’s seen this guy somewhere before, a brief wave of deja vu hitting her before she dismisses it just as quickly.  But who is she fooling ; this is a time for hanging loose and indulging a little !  Who cares if she looks a little out of place, the Queen certainly wouldn’t be the only one. 

         Drink is discarded at the bar, hand offered to the bright-haired man with a sharp grin to match.  Maybe it’s the liquid courage playing a part in her actions, but she WILL get some dancing done tonight !

     Aaaaand just as quickly as she arrived, watching the hungover priest become the funniest being alive and the happy couple bust a gut laughing, she’s sliding her way back to the bar and the huge table of food.

   Queenie’s feeling a little parched, herself...

        She was able to get here earlier, but she got distracted by the food.  All the good seats were taken when she got to see the ceremony start.  Maybe she was fashionably late ?  

         Who cares, man !  She got to see the cutesy vows and the kiss, so she doesn’t mind having to stand in the back ; She’s tall enough, anyways. 

         ... They probably won’t last a week, though.

A smirk as Macaque comes closer, lifting the other's chin with just a finger, his tail swishing behind him. "What's the matter 𝑆𝑢𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑒. Surprised to see lil' ol me?~ "

A pause, delicate in nature as he'd been gazing through an old book. It been one of the days he decided to go through old texts and give them a read or two. However it's the fact the shadows twist, his first sign until the other appears not even five feet from him. The tension in the air builds almost immediately at the other's arrival in sacred territory, his domain. Past the barrier as well. (He knew why the barrier didn't keep the other out) instead he finds that a hand comes far too close to his face, his heart leaps into his throat, a momentary panic.

That settles for annoyance and confusion as soon as a single digit makes his head tilt up ever slightly, to gaze into those dull golden eyes unlike his own. He releases a slow exhale, betrayed only by the faint glow at the tip of his tail, the way steam escapes the edge of his mouth. It's in that moment in a burst of speed he makes his move.

Tail sweeping and catching the other's legs, he knocks him down. The other would have landed flat on his back if the edges of claws hadn't dug into the segments of the other's cloak, gripping tightly onto the edges before pulling the other abruptly back up, tilting his head down to whisper into sensitive ears. "可能想努力保持安静。除非你想让整座山都听到你的尖叫声。"

You are completely ok not liking the ship and wanting to see them familial like, that's fine. But the crew for LMK follow, like art for, and have shown art for that ship in streams. The showrunner said in an interview it was an ok ship. They worked with Chinese consultants to make sure the show was accurate and like every other adaptation I've seen except one they're unrelated and not brothers. Again it's completely fine if you find the ship uncomfy! But I thought you should know this.

hey sorry i could be completely wrong here but i saw a tumblr post a while back talking about sun wukong and liu'er that said they were pretty much brothers. like liu'er is IDENTICAL to wukong and not in a shadow the hedgehog and sonic way, where they just kind of look similar. when wukong kills macaque, tathagata buddha says stuff like "im glad you were finally able to kill that angry part of yourself" so its like.... :I

yeah nonono that's. vv uncomfy, do not like. cuz like,, even if they werent brothers, macaque is (from my understanding) meant to represent the bad parts of wukong so its kinda like shipping wukong w himself and it's just. HNGGh no thankies.
