Street samurai in tr4um4_t34m, Seattle, 2063 (Shadowrun setting)
They're still struggling with trying to get the habits of a lifetime of being an elitist asshole elf racist out of themselves... I've written up some of their background here (and in other posts tagged #Nuallach), go check it out!
I'm having a bit of an "askfdjlgkhj they look so cool" week in regards to my ShadowRun characters, and felt I had shared far too few of these photos from November 2025.
The woman playing our decker asked a cosplay photographer, we booked a timespot, and tadaa! Drekking magic was made! I mean it, he made us look so, SO good. Check his Instagram out, the link is below the cut.
Robert Johannesson's amazing cosplay photography
...it was also just below zero degrees Celsius. I was wearing so many layers on every bodypart where they wouldn't show in the photos...
Nuallach Zarjian Endsong, matrix handles endsong and white_howler, Street Samurai and SURGE-victim, formerly second-generation Tír Tairngire elf with Squire rank, a flaming speciesist and elven supremacist advocate (also security detail for the MCT delegations to Cara'sir)
Unsurprisingly, when SURGE hit, they ended up in a bit of a personal and social crisis, and decided to burn their SIN and flee the Tír. Surprisingly, an old acquaintance had to do the same because of SURGE and flee their life as a Mitsuhama employee, and the two teamed up.
Street Samurai and Physical Adept, both with strange new appearances even for the Sixth World, but also new physical benefits. One of Endsong's is to have extreme hearing and echolocation, and the mask is a tool to cause sonic damage from their screams.
Photos taken at the ShadowRun larp "Tales from the Inferno", set in Seattle, 15 May 2063, at Dante's Inferno, even if only the level of Limbo.
It was absolutely arctic (great), and deserved twice the amount of participants. And I had so much fun creating Nuallach's look and details and props! UV reactive stuff is so much fun <3 Ears from Elena Vanin on Etsy, wig from when ArdaWigs still sold stuff in the EU I think. I enjoy creating ShadowRun character looks SO much! ...also oh yes, when the real character creation inspiration hit, I did a bit of an homage to Jain Zar, Howling Banshee Exarch from the Warhammer 40000 universe.
Nuallach Zarjian Endsong, former elf, SURGE-victim, street samurai who fled from Tír Tairngire and has started to make a new life in the shadows of Seattle. Stone cold badass with a lot of baggage. Member of the aptly named trio tr4uma_t34m.
...I really, really love ShadowRun and its take on cyberpunk <3
We had a proper photoshoot with a proper (go check his other cosplay stuff out) photographer and it was awesome and he made us look SO good!
Iiiit was also 0° C and I was wearing as many layers as I could get away with under the skintight trousers and double bolero...
...because that top has both boob- and back-window and also is just two layers of some stretchy fabric. Buuut coolness trumped coldness!
Second-generation elf, earned title through Rite of Passage, perfect Tír citizen, elven racial supremacy advocate... Sometime, bad people do get what's coming to them. Nowadays: No job security. Can hardly stand to look at their own body. Previous "friends" hostile. Trying to relearn a lifetime of speciesist thinking and language. Navigating the real world rather than... whatever the hell their life in Tír was. Privileged, for one.
There'll be more from this photoshoot. I'm way too fond of the photos to just not share them. There needs to be MOAR SHADOWRUN STUFFS anyway. I played Nuallach aka "White Howler" during "Tales from the Inferno" this spring, and we all wanted more photos of ourselves, sooo we did it!
Shadowrunner, street samurai, SURGE victim. Fast, skilled, and absolutely not mentally well, but trying to hide it!
There was a professional photographer called Robert Johannesson (his Instagram) before the event, and I jumped on that opportunity! He made us all look SO cool!
Kerambit/karambit/kurambik from Langjahr, meaning it looks great even before I've tinkered with it and added metal paint, but also that it's soft and made to not hurt people.

Full-body shots of Nuallach, showing off that 80's cyberpunk vibe! Unfortunately, black became the main colour (again...), with white and yellow as accent colours. But it looks good, even though it's hard to photograph!
The larp was really good. I want to play this character again! They're intriguing and there's a lot of potential for a character arc. And also the outfit is a delight to me.
The "gun" is a Nerf "gun", with edits to make it look more like a cyberpunky, possibly Ares-manufactured weapon. I am definitely happy with how it all came together, and the details! The leg-bag was the first to receive the reflective tape-treatment, and then I decided the leg armour needed something more, too.
Bolero jacket and, uh, plain bolero are both by Queen of Darkness.
As for Nuallach themself, I wrote about them here, and posted another if I may say so myself damn good photo here. The two in this post are also by Robert Johannesson.
Also they have another matrix-handle now: null_scream, as invented in cooperation by them and one of their now-teammates, Nixxy the wiz decker!
Honestly, ShadowRun is SUCH a cool setting! I'm still all giddy that I got to play a cool street samurai with outlandish white hairstyle! I should floof it up even more next time...
Ram "sw17ch" Premis, ork shaman of Swan's totem, fabulously handsome and very good at what he does. Except for negotiating. He's not very good at negotiating, he leaves that to his husband or the group's Face.
I love wearing his looks. There is a lot in that outfit that only shows in direct blacklight, or looks cooler.
And I love ShadowRun so much <3 Cyberpunk with magic in it!
Time for the Tales from the Sprawl larp campaign again! I was a bit off my mojo because of a migraine that made me feel queasy, and other things that cause me to be less able to mask than usual. But it picked up later! As always, a myriad of thanks to the best-looking runner crew one could ask for, Ground Control, and to the player of sw17chs husband, the dashing, formerly Tír elf, hermetic magician Daak "int3gr4l" Quas <3
Best moments included:
Enchanting ammo to be especially effective against insect spirits (sw17ch hates insect spirits) and giving a damn good show with props and chanting and all.
Having a sympathetic talk (!) with an Aztech wage-mage who was frustrated as he just wanted to do good, but everyone was suspicious of him because of his Azzie connections. (Uh, rightly so, sorry, man.)
Quiet moments, brief pauses, calm husband-to-husband affirmations, little words and touches of love... grounding experiences between sw17ch and Daak.
Telling Lugh Surehand (don't ask) to shut the fuck up and never ever suggest anything than that sw17ch is Daaks legal husband, or this ork will burn him to cinders.
Interacting with a porcupine shaman (the player had made quills by felting wool, it looked aaawesome).
Just... seeing everyone, and everything <3 Damn but that larp always has the best looking costumes and irl locations!
(Please note: This is very far from boffer-fighty-larping.)
