When Axel had left the flat and made his way over to his car, dark clouds loomed overhead and a light rain was beginning to fall. It would probably pick up after a little while, as the weather network had stated that there was a chance of thundershowers later on in the day. If he had the choice, he’d rather just stay inside, but thanks to Hunter being intoxicated and hardly responsive because he was black out drunk or high off of something, he had to go pick up Shiloh. She had tried again and again to call and text him with no response, and after Axel had gotten frustrated with the phone vibrating and ringing on repeat, even after throwing a cushion at Hunter to try to wake him up, he’d given up and checked the screen himself only to discover that Shiloh was needing Hunter’s help yet again. A few minutes later, Axel was bringing his car to a stop in front of Shiloh’s apartment. He knew where she lived only because he’d gone with Hunter to drop her off last time. Which door he would have to go to once he got inside to let her know he’d arrived in Hunter’s place, however, he didn’t know. Luckily for him, that wouldn’t be a problem since he had spotted her sitting outside the doors in the rain. Again, she wasn’t wearing any shoes and was in only her socks and sleepwear. At the realization, Axel frowned, confused by why this had happened yet again. This was just strange, considering she wasn’t homeless and clearly had a place to stay and keep her stuff. Both times he’d seen her now, she’d been outside without proper clothing and had been asking for help. Something didn’t quite seem right, and he couldn’t tell if it was to do with her or just whatever her situation was.
Getting out of the car, Axel made his way up to the front doors and stopped in front of Shiloh. Upon closer inspection, he was able to notice that it looked like she’d been crying. Her running makeup could’ve just been caused by the rain, but her eyes were a little red and puffy and she looked a bit on edge too, as if something had scared her. “Hey, are you alright?” He asked, a tone of concern behind his words while he knelt down to be more at her level. His leather jacket was promptly removed and draped over the brunette’s shoulders. She looked quite cold out here in nothing but pajamas.
“Why are you out here in the rain?” If she’d been waiting for Hunter, why wait outside where she would just end up cold and wet? And where was her bag of things to stay over? “Hunter was passed out so I came to get you instead. If you wanna grab your stuff, I’ll drive you.” If Shiloh decided she wanted to talk about it with him, that was fine. And if she wanted to wait for Hunter to sober the fuck up before talking to him about it, that was fine too. Either way, he was going to take her back to his place.
