A special message from Wellington Paranormal for New Zealand Sign Language Week 2022

Interesting fact: New Zealand has two official languages, Māori and NZSL. English is not an official language, it’s just the most commonly spoken.

Māori sign language is still developing, as Māori deaf people have not always had equal language education access, but there are some specific signs for Māori words and concepts (like the “kia ora” O’Leary demonstrates above). Here’s a news piece from 2017 about a trilingual sign language interpreter working on it.

Winter outfit for Siri ❄️

This thing has two versions but originally had way more because I was unable to pick colors. Grateful to my patrons for their opinions!

Still, had to make two. First is with a small hint of art nouveau and the second is just flats ⛸ I MISSED LINEART!

Character inspiration for Siri!

It would be correct to state however that it was a quest played backwards. Siri doesn’t have any “base” and is not designed with certain popular characters in mind to inherit their traits. So I tried to think of characters who have something common with her only now. Well, except for the first three, those stunning ladies and Jack I had in mind for some time.

Selene is here for the vibe, outfit included;

Evie is wielding double sai, obvious match;

Captain Jack — chaotic and random approach;

Pippin — positive, funny and cheerful dude put in terrible new realities of his life;

Esmeralda is a street performer (Siri’s main profession in Nehrim actually);

And Elsa for the frost magic.

Apparently this is the only type of content I can post now xD New stuff is on the way... somewhere on the way. But for now embrace another character chart that I'm not too certain about. The confusion in the priorities block is because it's hard for Siri to tell apart family, home, friends and love. It usually takes the same spot for everything.
