This is probably a stretch and out of nowhere, but what if it’s not Wren that was in love with Charlotte? I feel like the show is making that too obvious already that he would be suspicious.

John is a name derived from Hebrew. Another name derived from Hebrew and the bible along with John? Gabriel.

What if Gabriel Holbrook became obsessed with Charlotte and Alison? What if he’s the reason CeCe/Charlotte got away from the cops in 5x01? What if it wasn’t Mrs. D that paid Barry off, but it was Holbrook?

Why was Holbrook so shady? Why was he hanging around and so interested in the girls? And not in a “I’m going to solve this case” way. What if he got close to Alison to distract her so CeCe/Charlotte could attack Hanna and Spencer at the house? What if he also helped CeCe/Charlotte out and that’s the man we thought we always saw instead of a woman? What if he was her puppet too?

I genuinely don’t know and I’m not one to make theories because I suck at it honestly lol but it is interesting that he disappeared and we don’t know what happened to him?

Here’s what bothers me about Tanner and Holbrook

They aren’t Rosewood PD. At least, when they first showed up, they weren’t. They were outsiders brought in to solve what the local idiots couldn’t. Yet they fucked it up without doing any of the shadiness that Wilden and Garrett did.
