Why Is Fetty Wap’s “Shake Dat Azz” Freestyle So Underrated?

I find myself in situations where no one wants to play music, because sometimes you just don’t want to play DJ. Other times, I’m like why not? I’ll be selfish and play what I want to hear for the rest of the function. Last night, was one of those times.

*Raises hand “Hey, I’ll play the music!” So eager. (Which is what inspired this playlist here)

I played a few “What’s the name of that?” “Who’s that?” records for friends. And, one in particular I was so shocked no one had heard. Like wait, you haven’t heard Fetty’s new freestyle?

Then, I thought to myself why aren’t more people listening to Fetty Wap’s “Shake Dat Azz” freestyle?

Honestly, when I first heard the song I thought it was going to be more comical than fire. The only reason it was funny is because he actually killed this freestyle. I have been trying to tell people Fetty Wap is a singer. He’s SINGING on this song like he was in Zoo Wap.

Well, Fetty Wap remade Mystikal’s classic “Shake Ya Azz” and made it his classic. Just in case you forgot how monumental the original was, please revisit every rockin’ party you’ve ever been to and ask was this played? It should have been.
