Through 31 Dec 2021, it’s #blacktruffle season at @ShakeShackSG where some of your favourite classics get a special, savoury black truffle sauce upgrade. On the Black Truffle Burger, the sauce feels a bit drowned out amongst the fried shallots, cheese and juicy Angus beef patty. Those who have ventured to @GardensByTheBay recently would have noticed the swanky new @ShakeShackSG - you won’t miss it, their seventh and latest outlet is near the entrance of the 🌸Flower Dome. The place is real pretty too with lush foliage and floral chandeliers, and there’s also an outdoor dining space that pawrents will appreciate. As with every Shack launch, there’s a limited-time menu—this time, it’s a Roasted Garlic menu inspired by the flavors of a classic New York steakhouse. On the 🍔Roasted Garlic Mushroom Burger, the subtle garlic mayo seems lost amidst the patty, provolone cheese and sautéed portobello mushrooms. Crispy fried shallots were a tasty touch, though reminiscent of their previous limited, and very delicious, ShackMeister burger. In comparison, the 🌟Roasted Garlic Fries fared much better where the garlic flavour of that mildly tangy roasted garlic mayo has room to slowly develop as you crunch down on those crinkle cut fries. I recommend asking for ‘Well done’ if you like them extra crisp. Also on the menu, two new and Gardens-exclusive concretes: 🫐Berries by the Bay featuring fresh blueberries, forest berries jam and dried osmanthus flowers, and a very appetising 🥭Tropic Like It’s Hot. As usual, there’s a special limited menu to celebrate. Available till 15 Oct 2021 (other outlets start selling 3 Sep onwards), you’ll be able to order two items featuring a creamy, roasted garlic mayo. @ShakeShackSG’s latest, and fifth, outlet at @VivoCitySingapore opens tomorrow, 1 Dec 2020, 12pm. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, I’ve got good news for you: their two new outlet-exclusives are CONCRETES! 🌟 The Viva La Vivo (named after the venue) is a blend with strawberries and sugar cone pieces, topped with rainbow sprinkles, and I highly recommend the Sugee Boogie. It looks more simple, but packs a joyous, zesty punch with @ILoveMrsKueh’s Orange Citrus Sugee Cake. Really loved how the crumbly cake breathed texture into the creamy vanilla custard. 🎄🥤 Also, from 1 to 6 Dec 2020, you can buy a Christmas Cookie Shake voucher at $2 (the shake is usually sold for $7.80) which is redeemable on your next visit (redemption period runs for whole of Dec 2020).
