Loads more Japanese fare at @MioFineFoods, though personals picks of dinner there centers around their fusion dishes. The 🌟Nori Taco is as pretty as it is scrummy. Seaweed ‘taco’ shells add flavour and a great bite to assortment of fillings, such as Negitoro uni or even beef cubes. Magical experience at @LesAmisGroupSG’s new #omakase concept @Jinhonten.SG where Head Chef Issey Araki plates up the season’s finest. His appetizer of 🌟Kuro Awabi is absolutely stunning. A deeply umami abalone dashi (last pic)—made with black #abalone from Yamaguchi, konbu and sake—warms the palate as chef proudly, and playfully, parades the fleshy shellfish. Tender slices then served with a to-die-for, rich 😍abalone liver-uni sauce that will have you both lapping it up and wishing there was more. The bold and punchy new dishes from @CrystalJadeSG La Mian Xiao Long Bao and #CrystalJade Jiang Nan are right up my alley! Newfound fave appetizer is their refreshing, and also tongue-tingling spicy, 🌟Chinese Lettuce Salad in Szechuan Style. And they serve Chong Qing-style grilled fish now too! I especially enjoyed the 💚Pickled Mustard Green Grilled Patin Fish. Tasty, milky-white broth chockfull of spices and ingredients like beancurd knot, black fungus, lotus root, preserved vegetables, flat mung bean noodles and deep-fried garlic chips.
