I saw your tags on a post you reblogged from me and as a v e r y poor person ( my mom is on social security and while i am working, it's not enough to sustain a living), the only "limited resources" you would use Amazon for are luxury items (tech mainly.) I know you can buy anything from Amazon but like, when you don't have money, you don't... Spend money it shouldn't be t h a t hard to avoid it. Especially when you're r e a l l y poor. You know what I mean?

Hi! First of all I’m really sorry you’re in that situation, I’m pretty much in the same boat (my dad is also on social security). The things I was thinking abt in my tags was actually college textbooks bc those are really the only things I’ve ever bought from amazon since unfortunately they usually have the most affordable prices for books and when you’re a poor college kid textbooks are a financial drain. But yeah I definitely agree that you reallly should avoid using when you can, this semester I actually found all my text books for sale on the half price books website for the same or even less than what they are on amazon.

I am really indifferent about the cats musical v movie look but why did they have to use a picture of Rebel Wilson looking like she's org*sming sksksks

because they’re trying to show how “bad” it is and using a bad photo of rebel’s character instead of using the best possible still is another way these criticisms of cats are going about proving their point. the musical and the movie clearly are perfect for their elements, theater v movie have different feels entirely (a theater production’s live element versus a movie’s prerecorded element is different for an actor too - lin miranda talked about coming from a stage musical to act & sing in a movie musical during the press junket for mary poppins returns and says it was a very strange feeling) and a lot of people on tumblr are not actors, cgi artists, costume designers, etc and criticize without thinking of the thought & care put into those type of productions.

tbh, cats (2019) will probably open to favorable reviews from movie critics because it’s a breath of fresh air compared to other releases this year and while still an adaptation of a previous source material, the take on it is not only fresh but utilizes movie production to its fullest potential.

Yesterday was my four years of when Taylor followed me and I did a life stream in the same room I was in when she followed me, sitting in the same chair I had my hand against to stabilize myself so that's iconic. Also one of my best friends got her second Taylor notice today so that's pretty rad! OH! And my blog has finally been appealed. Iconic!
