It’s an important night, well every time she gets to play her cello is an important night but this time she’s the star of the show, she’s the one who’s leading the whole orchestra with her cello. Like always she is dressed elegantly, tonight shes in a burgundy silk dress the flows out from her midwaist, thin straps that go over her shoulders, her dark golden hair curled and pinked up to keep away from her face though a few stray away from the pins. Charlotte starts off the music well, always losing herself within the music and by the end, everyone stands to applaud them.
“That was perfect Charlotte, great job!” One of her friend says as they walked towards backstage “Beauitful as always!” Another would say and by the time she places her cello back in her case she have already received many complements; however a new voice stalls her movement, it’s a voice she haven’t heard in a long time. She turns to face the other, it’s her high school sweetheart, the one that got away. Many hidden feelings for him, came back at full blast, he’s still handsome as ever despite the years that have passed by. Butterflies made their way into her stomach as she walks towards him, her ruby red lips displaying a soft smile “Rick..” she says and for a brief moment she looks over his left hand- no wedding ring. “It’s so good to see you..” she doesn’t know what to do, should she hug him? Give him a handshake? But eventually she settles into a hug. “It’s been too long.” She says once she pulls away “How are you?” She asked.
