spring fever. oh boy spring fever. i have a lot of conflicting feelings on spring fever. i like the mechanic and i do like the challenge it brings when it comes to managing your stam and making sure you arent spotted but it is SO hard to react in time when twisteds happen to turn a corner and you're on a machine.

it genuinely pisses me off so bad and its probably just a skill issue of mine thanks to my disorders (or disabilities? i dont know what causes it specifically) that makes my reaction time much slower than the average persons but its still incredibly irritating nonetheless

i find that i have MUCH less patience on floors with spring fever. if i get caught off guard / jumpscared / etc and it results in me getting hit ONCE i tend to immediately just throw in the towel and kill myself to whatever twisted caught me off guard (unless its brusha i will literally go out of my way to find someone else but thats a whole other can of worms to get into). it does not matter how good of a run it was, it doesnt matter how far in i was, it doesnt matter how many stacked items i have, ill just give in right then and there and it makes me feel soooo bad if im playing with others but i simply cannot Will myself to continue

i have NO idea why that is because i dont react this way in any other scenario. being caught of guard on iced over floors? its whatever. being caught off guard on blackouts WHILE BEING VISUALLY IMPAIRED? irritating but i can pull thru. but not when it comes to spring fever! i guess!

im not saying qwel should nerf spring fever i just like complaining and this is MY blog so i can say WHATEVER i want WHENEVER i want and its not like anyone is gonna see this anyways #lol

shellys floor genuinely. GENUINELY needs another rework. while the current IS an improvement from the original, it is STILL so incredibly ass. its so cramped and if you happen to be a LITTLE unfortunate (i.e getting chased by another twisted while you're already being chased by one w/ lack of stam) you're just fucked and are going to Die.

its so easy to get spotted by twisteds thanks to how small and cramped it is. god forbid i want to do a duo run with my wife and play as squirm but god said "shelly floor NOW. no joy for you" like sorry i dont find it fun trying to spend 30 minutes doing a single machine in one corner of the map (where i am STUCK) thanks to the twisteds pathing.

sure, its manageable when you have a distractor, but its still genuinely so awful. plus, i mostly play with my friends and sometimes its just me and one other person so there isnt much of a point to distract when its just Two People. that'd leave ONE person doing machines and even if youre a fast extractor, shit is gonna go by SO fucking slow
