abalone: what kind of situations compromise my muse emotionally
A lot. It’s not difficult to compromise Joan emotionally, but the most common situations that put her through intense emotional stress are: when she doesn’t get to drug herself at least once again ( aka THE ABSTINENCE ) , when people question in general if she’s a drug addict & when people scold her about her life choices. Her emotions swirl and are confused and are like a fucking washing machine in overheat, and it is no good at all.
Situations that compromise her internally, meaning that she doesn’t show that ‘wow that kinda hurt me and i want to punch you but i also want to cry’, are when people comment on her looks or her weight; people commenting on her alcohol addiction; comments about her interests and tastes in pretty much anything– but especially poetry and romantic shit. She’s not gonna shed a tear externally… but she’s going to cry a waterfall internally.
agate: how my muse calms down
Joan’s best and more frequent way to calm down after getting heated, is either to watch a really violent movie, or either to watch a sitcom like Friends. She also resorts to eating a lot and drinking a lot, complete with cuddly blanket thrown around herself as if she were a taco and bunny loafers and mouth stuffed with doritos and wine. It manages to cheer her up in 30 minutes or so, but if she’s with someone else willing to help her mood, it takes probably 10 minutes overall. She’s not difficult to calm down, like it’s not difficult to excite / irritate / anger her.
