The San Francisco 49ers tried out former NY Giants running back Shane Vereen on Tuesday.
According Howard Balzer, former NY Giants running back Shane Vereen worked out for the 49ers on Tuesday.
Vereen spent the last three seasons with the Giants.
He rushed for less than 600 yards in his time with the team but he did catch 123 passes.

According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, New York Giants running back Shane Vereen has “re-tore” his triceps – the same injury that originally put him on Injured Reserve back in Week 3.
