drunk tinies are cute— but drunk giants trying to communicate with them?
While I enjoy stories about drunk borrowers, my favorite moments are when a gentle, slightly drunk giant tries to communicate with their borrower 🥹✨
I’ve shared three of my favorite stories that explore this idea — and added a few doodles and a short comic inspired by the first one.

If you’ve written something with a similar theme, please tell me! I’d be so happy to discover it 🥰 And if this post ever causes a problem, just say the word and I’ll remove it 💕
Here’s a little bonus page about that evening 💖

"Now my watch begins"
Encounter: Big Jim Henson
personally I love the giant aspect of g/t stories when someone becomes a giant. The realization that nothing is built for them anymore, and that they have to be infinitely careful around everything. People are afraid, and they have every right to be— but it still stings that it takes ages to gain even the most basic amount of trust. That the world they knew their whole life has shunned them, and now with their size and strength it would be so easy to break.
