thinking about how most of the work on Shanghai.EXE was already done and/or halted by the time HSiFS came out so we missed the opportunity for an injoke with Narumi standing in for the Guardian chip

So for the past couple months I’ve been playing Shanghai.EXE, a Touhou version of the MegaMan Battle Network gaming formula. So far I am LOVING IT! It’s scratching those itches I’ve had for a new Battle Network game! AND with a pair of lady protagonists it doesn’t make me feel dysphoric!

I can tell you it’s not. The version you are playing is Beta 0.182. Corky (@Koki_Thlal) on twitter is the main dev and has been working on it for quite a long time, hasn’t had an “update” in months, but Corky does dev streams on niconico.
