August 15, 2014 - "Off the Map with Shannen and Holly", releasing some injured animals back to the wild, where they belong.

This epuside was filmed in Georgia, and here they are with Dr. Kimberly Andrews and Greg Skupien with the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.

Six degrees of separation is the idea that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other. As a result, a chain of "friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.

At first some of the connections our muses have seem strange, difficult or nearly impossible. But that's the fun of this! Who would be the people who connect Marsha Hunt, actress, singer and author, very famous in the 1960s and 1970s, with Shannen Doherty, actress, director and activist, most famous in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s?

Well, that would be no other than Stephanie Beacham, who appeared with Marsha in "Dracula AD 1972" and with Shannen in 2 of her most famous productions, "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed".

Bottom, Shannen with Stephanie in the TV series "Beverly Hills, 90210" (they starred together in 4 episodes from 2 seasons), and in "Charmed" with co-stars Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs in the episode "Reckless Abandon" from season 2, aired on January 27, 2000.

Besides being talented actresses, both Shannen and Marsha suffered breast cancer. While Marsha went to remission, Shannen's was terminal and died on 2024 aged only 53. We don't believe they met each other but it's cool to see they were connected in a way!

Marsha was famous for starring in the "Hair" musical in the 1960s, was also a very successful model; stage, film, and TV actress; author and playwright. She's also been a radio talk host show, and has a daughter with Mick Jagger, Karis. We have a facebook page for her if you want to know more.

As for Shannen, she was also a director and producer, animal rights' activist, and author and podcaster. We have a tumblr site for her if you want to follow.
