wikis say Vibranium but i like the theory that it’s more akin to Loki’s scepter glow stuff. Tony wanted to call it badassium.

That's what I saw.  I am inclined to call it badassium, and I like that idea better since the glowing it makes is consistent and the way he synthesizes it indicates to me it would not be a metal like the Vibranium that the shield is made of.  Especially since Howard gave Steve that vibranium shield, it would contradict the idea that Howard was "limited by the technology of [his] time" or whatever.

Also I mean.  Calling it badassium just feels so much more Tony with a nice dash of comic book.
