Okay, 2013 was a really hard year. Sometimes it was an amazing year. This summer was a real turning point for me, and I shall always think of it as such. A family friend died far too young, leaving behind a three month old baby and a grieving family. I fulfilled a lifelong dream, and visited England and Wales in what was probably the best vacation of my life. I finished high school and started college, which has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. I am glad to have discovered tumblr during this year, and have really enjoyed wasting my life on this dumb blue website.
I know that I wouldn't have been able to survive this year without Sami, my best friend. She's in Delaware now, but she'll always be the Spock to my Kirk. Then there's Maddie and Natasha, my little sisters. We may not be related by blood, but they are more my family than some of my relatives. As Bobby Singer so beautifully put it, "family don't end with blood." And lastly, there is Juliet, my first ever internet friend who traveled from Ireland to London to meet up with me during my vacation. She's hilarious and beautiful, and I'm so glad to count her as my friend.
Lastly, there's you guys, my lovely followers. I know that sometimes I feel like you don't care, but there are definitely those of you who do. I know that whatever situation I'm in, you guys will always be there for me.
Here's to an interesting year, and may 2014 be wonderful.
