What website(s) could you recommend for me to post my stories on (non fanfiction but also not entirely serious, just novels and novellas I'm writing for fun but would also like feedback on)?
Hi! I use wattpad. The problem with it is that mostly romance or fanfic types get all the views, but I still like it. A poetry or horror book will never be more popular than a romance, but it can still get noticed. If you do go the wattpad route, join a book club where people will critque your book in exchange for your help in return. Do people still use Archive of Our Own? I've read some stuff on it, but never written with it. It's another option though. Here's some links I found naming more places: https://www.google.com/amp/s/savvybookwriters.wordpress.com/2012/07/03/47-top-websites-post-your-book-for-free/amp/https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111231162012AA4LfPQhttp://arielkprice.com/8-online-writing-communities-to-know-about/
Signs I love a book selflessly...
Yellowed pages stained with tea, coffee, butter, crumbs
Dog-ears every hundred pages or so
Long discussions over coffee, acknowledging silly flaws in the book without loving it any less
Lines upon lines of favorite quotes and annotated pages
No copy is safe--read in bathtubs, during dinner, outside in the rain, by the fire
Cherishing every misspelling, every incorrect turn of grammar
Copies lost in the ether--some to friends, some to family, some left in strangers’ mailboxes and bookshelves
