Shark mer bitty: Horror Sans
HorrorTale Sans Shark
Name: Rion
Species: Helicoprion
Size: 10 - 18 feet total, 4 - 6 standing(Fullsize), 28 - 38 inches total, 10 - 14 inches standing(mini), 28 - 38 feet total, 10 - 14 feet standing(bara)
Personality: Chill, laid back, relaxed,
Likes: soft foods, treats, being in a school, calmer waters, watching tv,
Dislikes: being alone for to long, being bored for to long, to small of a tank,
Compatibility: They're almost always seen as scary due to their saw like jaw, but they actually can only eat soft things! think jellyfish or squids, which is actually what they eat-
They're pretty chill and arent even food aggressive, which is rare among Horror types, though seeing as they have a very specific diet it's not to surprising, seeing as they rarely school with many other Rions meaning that once they find some food they can eat? they're set for a good while,
They can go without eating for 1-2 weeks(Mini), 4-5 weeks(Fullsized), or 8-10 weeks(Bara), though they do prefer to be fed more regularly but if they're fed life they dont exactly gorge on food either, often preferring to only eat when they're properly hungry, which can take a looong while at bigger sizes,
They can do well in schools and do have a preference to at least have 2 or more remoras around if without a school, often forming bonds with multiple remoras when 'alone', though they are also a shark mer that doesnt require any remoras at all! Nor do you have to worry about them eating smaller bitties, even the fact octo or squid mers are mers is more than enough to keep them from eating them(they couldnt even if they wanted to lol)
Due to their bottom jaws they cant actually speak properly, often making noises to 'speak' instead, making their 'accents' odd, and they just cant pronounce certain letters or words(you try tralking around a sideways jaw)
Feeding habits: Shark bitties are carnivores, though can eat other things as they are made of magic! They eat soft seafood like jellyfish, squid, shrimp, anything without bones really,
Additional info: All Shark bitties need their tails to be hydrated though can be out of water for short periods of time, but its recommended to let them stay in water for as long as possible when transporting,
Shark bitties are salt water! and can become bloated and ill if in fresh water for to long! though fresh water baths can help kill off salt water parasites,
Zone: Ocean,
In Universe: They're often feared for their looks, but also pretty popular as well among those that actually get to know them,
Difficulty: Beginner
