This is an important post from @sdmdiving about our behavior triggering other behavior. When the dive guide says keep your eyes on the tiger shark it doesn’t mean turn your back and head straight to the surface. Tomorrow I’ll post another shark interaction veteran, @africanwatersports sharing how forgetting his own rules almost cost him! #tigershark ———— #Repost @sdmdiving with @get_repost ・・・ One of the rules of tiger shark diving is NEVER turn your back on a tiger shark. They always know when you are not looking at them. Here my buddy Joe is swimming back to the boat. Swimming up towards the down line. Hook the tiger, see's Joe swimming up and away and decides to come in for a closer look. Chances are, she would of bumped and swam away leaving Joe unharmed. But I don't like to take those types of risks, so I gently pushed her down and away, just in case she was up to no good. I have posted this video before, but it is worth reposting to remind shark divers to always remember that they are tigers. #sharkdivingislife #sdmdiving #lovesharks #livingthedream #sharkdiving #savesharks #adventures #scubaadventures #travellife #wildlifevideo #closeencounter #naturevideos #sharksofinstagram
