Learn how the notes of the 12-tone, western system of music works in this first of a series of "Music Theory Shorts." I'll try to post a new lesson every week. The next lesson will be reading the notes on the treble clef, including ledger lines, followed with a lesson about reading the notes on the bass clef, as well as how and why the bass clef and treble clef can be combined to form a grand staff.
