I love playing with the shatter triplets.

Gnarly approached Ren, his hands wringing at his chest.

"Ren? C-can I talk to you?"

Ren turned, brow furrowed. "Sure little brother. What's up?"

The lanky teen flicked his gaze over his shoulder, as if making sure they weren't overheard. "I need some advice."

The middle Shatter triplet smiled, clapping a hand on the back of his littler brother. "Okay, Gnarls. C'mon and tell me what's eatin’ ya."

"HOLD ON A BLOODY MINUTE!"

The voice bellowed in the quiet of the Sanctuary, and they jumped. Their elder brother came storming over, brow furrowed deep and mouth pulled into a deep snarl.

"It be my understandin' that the eldest brother be the one what gives advice for any youngers in need of answers," he said, crossing his arms. "I be takin' it from here, Rennie."

Ren's face pulled into a scowl. "Don't call me Rennie. And what makes you think you can give advice? At all, let alone a good bit."

Dread waved a dismissive hand. "Advice be all about experience. And I be having plenty o' experience in many diff'rent things. I think I c'n handle whatever questions the lad may have, aye?"

Gnarly held up a finger. "Actually, I--"

"I don't think the kid needs to hear whatever you have to tell him, ya smelly pirate," Ren said, crossing his arms. "We don't want him commitin' any crimes based on your own experience."

Dread gasped dramatically, bringing a hand to his chest. "Resorting t' insults now, Rennie? That hardly seems fittin' behavior for a responsible older brother."

"Don't call me Rennie. And if the stinky pirate boot fits--"

"I'll have ye know I had me monthly bath just two weeks ago!"

"Maybe try using actual soap next time!"

Gnarly's head flicked back and forth between them. "Really guys, I just need--"

"Soap be the devil's tool!" Dread cried, pulling his hands into fists. "I use whale blubber like a good pirate should!"

"That explains the stench always following you!"

"YE TAKE THAT BACK!"

"MAKE ME!"

Dread launched himself at Ren, and the two rolled on the floor, throwing punches and insults and snapping at each other with their teeth. Gnarly watched them for a moment, before wandering off with an eye roll as Boom and Wachowski rushed over to try and separate them.

"Oh well," he sighed to himself. "They probably didn't know how to prevent alien parasitic vampires from nesting in my brain anyway."

I love how you write the triplets (ren,gnarly,dread) and. I wanted to know if you have any favorite drawings or writings of them no pressure to answer of course

Aw, thanks! I love writing for the triplets, they are so much fun--especially Dread and Ren, those two are such a hoot to play off each other.

I can't say I've seen many other people write for the triplets, so I can't really help in that regard. And as for drawings, I've seen some floating around Tumblr land, and I know my fellow knucklehead @quazart has some ADORABLE ones of them as little puggles. (Head over there and check out her art. It's too good. She does great with expressions.)
