I was rewatching your Resident Evil LP, when I realized something.

I was unable to find any of the sort of cheese you talking about, except for the Jill Sandwich part, which I actually took as an attempt to lighten the situation.

Everything else? I took it seriously……

What’s wrong with me!?

A lot of it just comes in the inflections, the exaggerated (or just badly acted) lines, though there are also just some weird lines.  Like Jill encountering Chris in a locked jail cell and asking him if he’ll wait there for her.  Like he has a choice?  Or Wesker reacting to Jill with “Jill..... you’re.... safe...” in such a “I’M NOT THE BAD GUY” way.

The Dark Chips actually act like the BugDeath Giga-class to a degree. No losing Max HP from using them but you lose a BugFrag, instead. Still lands you with the Bugs, though. Beast Link Gate may be forbidden to use on your runs, since it allows MegaMan to start in Beast Out and *stay* like that for the entire battle, no Beast Overs ever.

Huh, I see.  Not sure I knew much about either of those.

……Remind me to send you an English patched ROM of both versions of Battle Network 6. There’s a LOT of content that got cut from being ported overseas by Capcom, which actually includes the All things relating to Boktai, including the GunDelSol Chips along with Django.

I know the Boktai stuff was cut, I forget what else.

1. ‘Uchu Kita’ is actually Kamen Rider Fourze’s catchphrase while ‘My life is burning brightly’ is actually Kamen Rider Ghost’s catchphrase. 2. It was part 9 of your Secret of Mana Let’s Play. It was named ‘Tiger Tiger Burning Brightly’. 3. *continues doing the distraction dance.*. Didn’t even know this was a thing until I saw Juno Songs did a vocal cover of it.

1 / 2 ) Ahhh, I see.  I was referencing a poem by William Blake, though the actual line of the poem is “tyger tyger burning bright.”

3) While I haven’t played the Henry Stickmin games myself, I’ve seen a few LPers I watch that have, so yeah, that’s a very silly scene and catchy song.

Okay, this might be annoying you, but did you get back to working on Secret of Evermore or did something happen?

I’m taking basically forced time off because of Hurricane Laura, making preparations for that.  It’s likely to keep me out of commission for a bit.

Not sure if you got an answer to this but Cecil is from Final Fantasy II, at least at the time when Secret of Evermore was released. Nowadays, he’s actually now know as being from Final Fantasy IV. Thing was Square/Enix(not sure who) decided to skip translating and releasing the actual II, III, & V games which lead to IV becoming II, and VI to become III. Business Decisions!

Ah, I see.  That’s..... confusing, but okay, haha.
